It has taken me a while to accept how I look in my glasses. It wasn't until I was over 30 that I was told I needed them, and at that time, in that relationship, it was not a welcome sight. I remember going to buy my first pair of (cat-eye) frames with my son still on my hip. How cute and sweet he was as every time I put on another pair, he would peek from around my shoulder and smile. For years I only wore them when absolutely necessary, and even then I tried to keep that to a minimum because I was told I was prettier without them. After that relationship ended, I dated other men that loved them, and the more compliments I received from other people, the more motivated I became wear them more often. Now I wear them not only because I need to, but because I like how I look in them. I see myself more clearly. Literally. <3
{Jeans are TRUE boyfriend ones from JCrew that I have had forever. These are size 28, and I am more of a 25, so they give me that extra baggy look. Top is Old Navy got on sale. Necklace is also JCrew from last year on black Friday. Jacket is JCrew and bag is old Madewell. Booties are from Zara and will be in heavy rotation this year. Love them.}
